Men are only half as likely than women to seek support for their mental health, yet account for 75% of all deaths from suicide. Those men that do engage with therapy are twice as likely as women to drop out early. 

 

After heavily researching men's experiences of engaging with therapy during my training, I have applied that learning to successfully help a number of male clients. Though everyone is an individual, some men find a more structured approach with clear objectives can help them see the benefits of working on their mental health.
