Pet Bereavement

Losing A Pet

The pain of losing a pet is often underestimated and misunderstood. Those who have not been through the experience can often discount the emotional impact it has.

In a recent study, 75% of people said they mourned privately after the loss of a pet. Many feeling others would not understand, or be dismissive, of what they were going through.

Pet bereavement can also bring up painful memories and emotions connected to other loss you may have experienced in your life.

I provide short term counselling (generally six sessions) to help you talk through the impact of losing a pet.

Reach out via email, phone, or use the form.

Thanks for your enquiry (I'll try and respond within 24 hours)
